Stationery

Every year hundreds of thousands of obsolete maps are replaced with up-to-date ones. The unsold and unused old maps are usually used in the production of recycled paper and cardboard. Although this is better for the environment than using virgin wood pulp for paper production, there is an even better way: As the maps are only printed on one side of high quality paper, it is possible to just cut them to size and turn them into stationery items like envelopes and sheets of writing paper without any chemical process at all. This is called “Direct Recycling”. A further advantage is the striking and unusual design of the finished product. We import direct recycled stationery from Germany, where it is produced by DRP GmbH in Havixbeck.

Direct Recycling of maps has a lot of benefits for the environment:

  • saving of water: 100%
  • saving of bleaching agents: 100%
  • saving of energy: more than 95%
  • saving of fresh wood fibres: 100%
  • saving of binding agents: 100%

Our printing paper comes in two varieties: cut from the legend part of the map or cut from the map itself. It has a very nice feel to it and is an excellent choice for all kinds of printers, as well as for hand writing.

Not only are our products environmentally friendly, they are also of the highest quality and look great. Show that you have style AND care for the environment by using our direct recycled envelopes and paper!
