My name is Andreas Schroeer and I have a PhD in theoretical astrophysics from the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. This means that I practically grew up with the fantastic AstroMedia kits, which originate from my home town Essen.
In 2005 I moved to England and started working for the Open University as an associate lecturer in maths. I also run a business for electric vehicles. In 2008 I got myself the AstroMedia stirling engine as a christmas present and instantly decided to open this shop.
My wife Angela who has got a BA Honours in Humanities with Classical Studies also works for the OU. She helps with administration and sales in our shop.

Activities: We love to go sailing and you can find us at least once a year on the Baltic Sea or the English Channel. We also enjoy hiking in the beautiful English countryside.
